The energy label has been mandatory in the Netherlands since 2008 upon completion, sale or rental of a property. In this way, the Dutch government wants to reduce emissions of CO2, among other things.

There are many different ways to improve your home's energy score. Tackling insulation and having double-glazing installed are just some of the interventions that can make a difference. If you would like tailored advice on this, contact us by email or phone.

An energy advisor comes on site and carries out an analysis of your home's energy use. In doing so, he/she always follows the guidelines prescribed by ISSO. Based on the expert's findings, your home will be given a score between A+++ and G.

A house survey for an energy label is a non-destructive survey. This means that the energy consultant is not allowed to make holes in the walls or ceiling to see what insulation is behind them. It is therefore important that you always keep supporting documents such as invoices, construction drawings, photos,... well. These documents can be included by the energy adviser to achieve a better label.
